    "God and I both knew what it meant once; now God alone knows" - quote attributed to Friedrich Klopstock, German poet, 1724-1803. I hope you have more luck than he did reconstructing your note!

    (Isn't that a wonderful name: Friedrich Klopstock? Now I'll have to find some of his poetry to see what he had to say for himself.)

    Oh--this happens to me ALL the time. I can't tell you how often.

    Also --people email me and say--"I got what I think is a thank you note from you--what does it say?"
